Celestina Clutches on Edition01

I love the seashell bags! Those just look so gorgeous with all the colors!

Just when you thought there wasn’t much ground left to break when it comes to online shopping, get ready for Edition01. Introduced in November, the brilliant site focuses on the launches of high-end capsule collections. They have already done Donna Karan, Peter Pilotto, Cushnie Et Ochs, and Yigal Azrouel, to name a few…and they have about 82 amazing capsules lined up for the coming months!

It’s so hard to find a bag that hasn’t been Tweeted, blogged, Tumbled, or pinned about these days, so I like the idea of finding limited-edition bags from my favorite designers.

Especially brands like Celestina. Model-turned-designer Tina Maristela-Ocampo garnered loads of attention a few years ago when her $8K-minaudière landed in Vogue. Now the Philippine-produced line is releasing a capsule collection of exquisite evening clutches for the new site. Angular exotics (like the eye-catching skin of the Felipa clutch) and shimmering weaves (a la the Moonlight Brass) might steal my heart, but it’s the Shell clutches, that look like they were plucked from a mermaid’s hand, that will steal the show.
